Metallica SMITI Figure Playsets -Unique Metallica Action Figures

Metallica is one of the most legendary rock bands of all time so it's not surprising that there have been some decent Metallica action figures made depicting the band. Most of these Metallica figures are a life-like version of the guys in the band. Back in 2004, a company named Stevenson Entertainment Group (SEG Toys) came out with a sweet Metallica action figure set with over 25 different action figures and accessories including a Master of Puppets stage to display the figures! Awesome!

The SEG Toys Metallica Figures SMITI Playset includes mini action figures of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Cliff Burton. In contrast to previous Metallica action figures, the SEG Toys SMITI figures are mini figures that stand only a couple inches tall. They also don't have the realistic look that has been showcased by other brands that have made Metallica action figures. Although they aren't the most realistic Metallica action figures, the details are great and the paint make these little figures instantly recognizable. The detailing is good enough to identify each band member. Unlike a lot of other mini figures, the Metallica figures in the SEG Toys Metallica SMITI set do have some joints so they can be posed in different ways.

To display the Metallica figures, each playset comes with a ton of cool action figure accessories and a huge stage backdrop. The stage set up is designed to mimic the layout of the stage during Metallica's Master of Puppets tour. It includes the stage, backdrop, and four crosses as seen during the tour. Obviously, the set wouldn't be complete if the guys didn't have their own instruments, so each member of Metallica has their respective guitar, base, microphone, or drum accessories to "keep it real".

Funko Wacky Wobblers Take on Elvis Presley

In contrast to some other Elvis toys that have hit the market in the last few years, Funko Wacky Wobblers take a less serious look at Elvis. So far this year, Funko Toys has released four different Elvis Wacky Wobblers. Let's dive in to take a closer look at these cool Elvis Wacky Wobblers.

Funko Elvis Aloha Wacky Wobbler:

The Aloha Elvis Wacky Wobbler bobblehead is loosely based on Elvis' look during his Elvis Aloha from Hawaii TV performance. This performance is was one of the most famous TV performances of Elvis' career. The Elvis Aloha Wacky Wobbler features Elvis in his famous Eagle jumpsuit and Hawaiian lei. Since this was such a memorable look for Elvis, it's not surprising that this wasn't the first Elvis toy to feature Elvis in this very same outfit. Funko '50's Elvis Wacky Wobbler:

The '50's Elvis Wacky Wobbler bobblehead from Funko is probably the most simple take on Elvis, but it really captures the essence of "young Elvis" with his guitar. To shake things up a bit, Funko Toys manufactured a chase bobblehead version of this toy. A chase bobblehead or action figure is a toy that is packaged the exact same way as all the other toys in the series but the bobblehead has unique a unique paint job or sculpting. One out of every 36 Elvis '50s Wacky Wobblers is a special chase bobblehead. Because they are so rare, the chase bobbleheads are highly sought-after by collectors.

Funko '68 Elvis Wacky Wobblers:

Just like the Elvis Aloha Wacky Wobbler, the '68 Elvis Wacky Wobbler is also based on a televised Elvis concert. This concert became known as the '68 Comeback Special and it featured Elvis in a slick black outfit. To draw even more similarities between the '68 Elvis Wacky Wobbler and the Elvis Aloha bobblehead, there was also an Elvis action figure made featuring Elvis from this same performance. Funko Toys Elvis Bobble Car:

By far the most unique Elvis bobblehead in the series, the Elvis bobble car features Elvis in his pink Cadillac. I was more amazed than anyone when we were recently contacted by one of our distributors to let us know that they had a couple hundred My Chemical Romance action figures for us. Needless to say, we were excited to take these incredibly rare music figures off their hands!
