Knucklebonz is a manufacturer of some really cool limited edition 10-inch statues of rock n roll legends like Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, and Jimmy Page. The editions of these Knucklebonz statues are usually around 3000 each and typically have a retail price of around $115.00 each. The statues are hand painted and hand numbered on the base.
Obviously,
Knucklebonz statues are marketed as collector's items, but one question that we always ask ourselves at
Rock-n-Roll-Action-Figures.com is "do they really increase in value"? When it comes to the past performance of retired Knucklebonz statues, the answer is difinitively "YES". After being retired in 2007, the
Knucklebonz Slash statue was selling on ebay for around $500.00 each! More impressively, this week, the first Knucklebonz Dimebag Darrell statue that was retired about a year ago just sold on ebay for an astonishing $1025.00 in
this auction. It does help that this particular statue is #2 in the entire edition (the first Knucklebonz Dimebag Darrell statue #1 is owned by Dimebag's family), but this certainly demonstrates the success of Knucklebonz Rock Icons statues as true collector's pieces of rock n roll memorabilia.
If you're interested in starting your collection, or just want to check out some great pieces of music memorabilia or music action figures and toys, check out our music action figures and toys website. Funko Toys recently released the latest piece of The Doors memorabilia to collectors. The new
Funko Jim Morrison bobblehead is a fun Doors collectible with a low price tag. The Jim Morrison bobblehead is part of Funko's new Rock Icons bobblehead series. Like other bobble heads in the series, the Jim Morrison bobblehead stands 6-inches tall and features the legendary rocker behind the microphone ready to rock. The likeness to the real-life Jim Morrison isn't perfect, but it's probably good enough for fans of the Doors to grab onto this cool bobblehead. In addition to the standard Jim Morrison bobblehead, Funko has also informed retailers that 1 out of every 36 bobbleheads will be a special chase bobble head. This means that these unique bobbleheads utilize the same sculpting as the original, but they have a unique paint job. Typically, these chase bobbleheads are not advertised differently than the original bobbleheads. For your chance at the chase bobblehead, you can pick one up today on our

A while back, we told you about a new
Jimi Hendrix bobblehead from Funko Toys. Recently, I was taking a look at another Jimi Henrix product from Funko that we just received at our warehouse... the
Funko Force Jimi Hendrix action figure. While I was checking out the figure, it occurred to me that we have never written up an article summarizing all the Jimi Hendrix action figures that have been produced in the last few years. Well, I guess that meant that it was time to start typing. It's actually a lot of fun to see how different companies depict Jimi Hendrix in their action figures. By far, the most sought after Jimi Hendrix figures have to be the Mcfarlane Jimi Hendrix figures, but we really like the new Funko Jimi Hendrix figures for a completely different reason... they're fun! The stylizing of the new Funko Jimi Hendrix figure is classic Funko style. Funko is known for their fun style of designing toys and the Funko Force Jimi Hendrix action figure is right in line with their other products.

We're never too shy on our blog to shamelessly plug our action figures and music memorabilia over at our store at
Rock-n-Roll-Action-Figures.com, but this post has nothing to do with the action figures we sell.
Yesterday, I was cruising around on the web and came across an action figure company that I didn't recognize. Their entire selection of action figures includes different Jesus action figures. There's a Jesus figure of Jesus surfing, riding a bull, on a Harley etc. I took a long look at the website because I actually thought the action figures themselves were pretty well done. I have seen lots of horribly produced Jesus action figures before that were pretty poorly made, but these weren't too bad. In fact, they were kinda cool... then I started thinking about them a little more. Is this horrible to make some cash selling action figures of Jesus Christ? Hmmmm... I'm just not too sure on this one. I wouldn't feel bad if I was selling a fine art sculpture of Jesus but since they're action figures it seems a little wierd. The company producing the Jesus action figures appears to be manufacturing the figures for people who are believers, but there is also a pop culture appeal to these action figures. What do you think? You can check them out at the manufacturer's website
here.

NECA Cult Classics horror movie action figures depict villians and psychopaths from some of the most terrifying horror movies of all time. The cult classics figures are produced by
NECA, one of the world's largest action figure manufacturers. NECA's cult classics figures have garnered huge attention from the action figure collector's market due to the amazing sculpting, paint and pristine manufacturing of the figures. In addition, the licenses that NECA acquires to produce their Cult Classics figures are second-to-none. NECA has received numerous awards for their use of product licences from a number of different business and award committees. At any one time, they typically hold 30-50 active licenses to produce action figures and other products based on the licenced properties. Typically, about half of those licenses are to produce action figures for their NECA Cult Classics figure series.
In the past, the NECA Cult Classics figures have included action figures from horror movies like,
The Exorcist, The Lost Boys, Silence of the Lambs, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, Beetlejuice and many more. Each Cult Classics figure typically depicts a specific scene or moment from the movie that it is based on. For example, the NECA Spiderwalk Regan
Exorcist action figure recreates the horrifying "spider walk" scene from
The Exorcist. This action figure is a great example of why collectors love NECA Cult Classics figures. Although this is just one example, NECA pushed the limits of physics with the design of this figure to make it as true to the movie as possible. For a detailed look at the stylizing of the Exorcist NECA Cult Classics figure, check out this
NECA Exorcist action figure review.
NECA has proven to utilize smart business practices when it comes to their licensing of horror movie properties. In addition to their Cult Classics figures, NECA also produces a number of NECA Head Knocker bobbleheads based on the horror movie licenses too. For an entire list of licenses held by NECA to produce Cult Classics figures, you can visit their
licenses page. To purchase these awesome action figures, visit the
NECA Cult Classics figures page at
Rock-n-Roll-Action-Figures.com. For additional NECA action figures that are not part of the Cult Classics figure series, check out the
